The survey objective was to assess how Washington small businesses coped with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and to better understand how those businesses were currently faring. Another goal of the survey was to gather data on the types of assistance Washington small businesses would find most helpful moving forward and to identify barriers that business owners may have encountered in seeking help for their operations.
The Economic Recovery Dashboard, Provided by WA State Department of Commerce, is a visualization tool that uses an assortment of data sources to track Washington state's economic recovery and resiliency. It displays the latest available data on employment, businesses, government assistance programs, and consumer behavior, helping monitor the economic impact of COVID-19 across Washington state. This dashboard is intended to provide the public access to key metrics that. may help inform policy and economic recovery initiatives.
RCW 43.330.080(D) requires that EDC Team Jefferson does the following – “In conjunction with other governmental jurisdictions and institutions, participating in the development of a countywide economic development plan.” These plans were developed in collaboration with EDC Team Jefferson, and are updated annually to reflect the latest relevant data.
