Report: EDC Team Jefferson Activity July 2021-June 2022 – fiscal year end
The EDC Team Jefferson Board is preparing for a strategic plan review this fall. The staff has set up basic operational structures to provide a foundation to support organizational development. We are excited to be envisioning what is possible for this organization when we are aligned with community vision and purpose, and are resourced to deliver.
Our goal is to develop such that we can affect change upstream, moving from working in a contemporary paradigm with individual businesses and organizations, to evolving our framework to build robust networks, elevating industry clusters, supporting equitable social systems, and ultimately the living systems of which we are a part, and upon which we entirely depend.
The outcome sought by economic developers is a resilient and thriving community. Our strategic question is, “Who do we need to be to guide this journey?”
