About the Position
The Finance & Stewardship Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the financial and relational health of the JCF. This full-time position is responsible for managing daily financial operations, fundholder services, and donor stewardship functions with exceptional attention to detail and strong systems thinking. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in nonprofit finance and community relations, a passion for community impact, and the ability to juggle competing priorities across multiple projects. A summary of responsibilities includes:
Management of daily, monthly and annual accounting functions including timely processing of grant distributions
Recording, processing, and reconciling all financial transactions for all JCF charitable funds

Assisting with administration of payroll, benefits, tax filings (including 1099s), and vendor
relationships
Ensuring strong onboarding, support and tracking of new fundholders
Implement and track donation acknowledgment and stewardship processes
Maintaining up-to-date donor and fundholder profiles in the CRM

Providing general administrative assistance for all functions related to finance, fund
management and fundraising

Providing responsive support to donors and fundholders seeking information about transactions
Supporting the planning and execution of events, campaigns, and fundraising initiatives

Support the Resource Development Committee with tracking activities, note-taking, and CRM
updates

Administer the scholarship award process from application through award and payment
Key Skills and Attributes
High level of excellence and attention to detail in financial management
Familiarity with - or a strong interest in learning about – fund accounting
High level of excellence and attention to detail in data management

Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills to quickly build trust and rapport with
community members, team members and partners
Ability to plan and execute projects and workload autonomously

Salary and Benefits
An annual salary of $72,000
Medical insurance coverage through Regence, covered 80% by employer;

PTO accrued monthly for a total of 18 PTO days per 12 months with an additional 11 paid
holidays

100% match of up to 3% of the employee’s salary into a Simple IRA account
