Team Jefferson Advocacy

Looking for Team Jefferson's official support for your intitiative, organization, or project? EDC Team Jefferson has developed advocacy and policy procedures. Please follow the guidelines below:

 

  • Requests for consideration of an advocacy issue must be submitted or sponsored by representatives of a recognized organization serving Jefferson County.
  • The submitted request should be sent via email to teamjeffersonedc@gmail.com and include
  • A description of the desired outcome from Team Jefferson
  • A description of how the proposed issue would support Team Jefferson's mission
  • Team Jefferson recommends that requests be submitted at least 60 days before a decision is desired.
  • The Advocacy & Policy Committee will review submitted requests to determine whether they meet the criteria for consideration.
  • The issue must support the EDC Team Jefferson mission.
  • The issue must be sponsored or otherwise supported by a recognized organization.
  • The issue must be non-partisan.
  • Endorsements for candidates for public office will not be considered.
