Looking for Team Jefferson's official support for your intitiative, organization, or project? EDC Team Jefferson has developed advocacy and policy procedures. Please follow the guidelines below:
- Requests for consideration of an advocacy issue must be submitted or sponsored by representatives of a recognized organization serving Jefferson County.
- The submitted request should be sent via email to
teamjeffersonedc@gmail.com and include
- A description of the desired outcome from Team Jefferson
- A description of how the proposed issue would support Team Jefferson's mission
- Team Jefferson recommends that requests be submitted at least 60 days before a decision is desired.
- The Advocacy & Policy Committee will review submitted requests to determine whether they meet the criteria for consideration.
- The issue must support the EDC Team Jefferson mission.
- The issue must be sponsored or otherwise supported by a recognized organization.
- The issue must be non-partisan.
- Endorsements for candidates for public office will not be considered.
